Word spreads that “Jesus raised Lazarus!” Hearts stir. Hope and amazement ripple through Jerusalem. (John 12:17–18)

🏛️ HOLY MONDAY

Jesus enters the temple. Tables fly, coins clatter. “This is God’s house, not a marketplace!” (Matt 21:12-13)

Silence falls. Jesus speaks, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” (Luke 19:45-46)

📖 HOLY TUESDAY

Jesus stands in the temple telling parables that cut to the heart of hypocrisy. (Matt 21:23–46)

Jesus warns the crowd: “Beware the blind guides. True faith is justice, mercy, and faithfulness.” (Matt 23:1–39)

After leaving the temple Jesus speaks with some of His disciples privately, telling them of days to come, of hope, judgment, and His return. (Matt 24, Mark 13)

🪙 Holy Wednesday

Judas walks silently to the chief priests. Silver in hand, a betrayal is sealed. (Matt 26:14–16)

🍞 🍷 Maundy Thursday

Bread is broken, wine poured. “Take it; this is my body... This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many." (Mark 14:12-26)

Master becomes servant as Jesus washes the feet of the disciples. "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me." (John 13:1–17)

Soldiers arrive. Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss. The peaceful night shatters. (Matt 26:47–56)

✝️ Good Friday

Pilate’s hall. Questions, accusations, and silence. The crowd chooses Barabbas. Jesus, condemned. (Matt 27:11–26)

Jesus is mocked. "Hail, king of the Jews!" A crown of thorns is placed on his head. The soldiers spit on him, strike Him on the head, then lead Him away to be crucified. (Matt 27:27–31)

Jesus is forced to carry the very cross He will be crucified on. (John 19:17)

Nails pierce hands, blood drips, the sky darkens. “It is finished.” (Matt 27:32–50)

The tomb is sealed. Darkness lingers. Hearts are heavy. (Matt 27:57–66)

🪦 Black Saturday

Silence. Jesus rests in the tomb. His followers weep and prepare spices. Hope seems dim. (Matt 27:62–66)

🌅 Resurrection Sunday

The stone is rolled away! The tomb is empty! The angel of the Lord says to Mary, “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said!” (Matt 28:1–8)

Fear, awe, joy all at once. Mary sees Jesus... "Rabboni!" Jesus tells Mary to go tell His brothers He is alive and ascending to the Father. (John 20:11-18)

Jesus appears to His disciples. Peace. Joy. “...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit... I am with you always.” (Matt 28:16–20)
